The Icehouse is always looking for innovative and experimental work along with more challenging conventional work. In the past, exhibits have incorporated sound, film, performance, kinetic sculpture, interactive elements, fashion and more conventional forms.

The Icehouse is a raw industrial space that is perfect for site specific and large-scale works that would not be possible in other, more standard gallery venues. (see interior images here) Artists applying to exhibit at the Icehouse should have work that challenges in form and concept and be willing to take chances in their work. Proposals are welcome. Guest curators are welcome as a possibility also.

To submit work to the Icehouse please include:

• 10-15 slides of recent work (no later than the past 2 years) with corresponding slide list

• resume listing recent exhibits, publications and other relevant involvements.

• artist statement

• proposal for exhibit (group or solo-we also welcome proposals for curated exhibits)
